Lea Michele Marks Special Broadway Anniversary, Reveals How Long She's Been Performing

Lea Michele celebrated a special anniversary on Broadway earlier this month.

The 36-year-old Glee actress is currently starring in a record-breaking revival of Funny Girl.

In the midst of that, she took to Instagram to reveal how many years she's been performing onstage.

"April 6th marked 28 years of living this incredible dream of performing on Broadway," Lea wrote on Instagram on Monday (April 10). "At the young age of 8 years old I made my Broadway debut. Now five shows and 28 years later to still be on the stage I'm so grateful to be able to STILL be doing what I love so so very much."

Since joining the cast of Funny Girl, Lea has recorded a studio album with her castmates. She also revealed her thoughts on recording a performance of the musical to be released as a movie.
